One of the nice things about having this blog hosted by WordPress.com is the end-of-year report they provide with a few big-picture stats. You’re probably not as interested in this as I am, but if you’re curious, you can check out the full report infographic here. It lists some of the top posts, who commented most often, search terms that led people to the blog, other sites that visitors came from, and countries readers are from. Many other stats are always available to any blog owner through the admin dashboard, but it’s nice to see a few of the highlights in a more attractive presentation.
One thing that surprised me is that the readers were scattered over 76 countries, with the majority from the U.S. (of course), India and France. I didn’t expect that.
